I think that they are part of the Resistance, because they are delivering the coffin and I think they would have looked inside as it is human nature that people are curious. And since they did not tell any one anything if they looked inside, I think they are part of the Resistance.
Good job on, using facts like when you said it was human nature to be curious, you didn't only think about the story but also real facts!
