Week three Group three My Side of the Mountain

I think Sam changed because of how he taught himself how to do new things to be able to survive in different ways, for example in the begining he took hours to find and get food but now he has a stock ready for him to eat. Also because Sam used to not have good clothes or pockets to collect food or survive the winter but now he has strong warm clothes that help him survive the winter and collect more food to eat. Another reason is that Sam used to freeze his first winter but now he has food, fire, light and clothes to survive long in the winter. I think Sam mostly changed in chapter 9 because he learned new ways to survive eat and make clothes. Also because Sam learned perseverance until chapter 9 where he could rely on himself. This shows how Sam changed from struggling and persevering to relying on himself and being prepared.
