I think The German soldiers are in Denmark because there is war outside the country between the two country's. I think they are in the town because they want to threaten the people in Denmark so that they can take the country. It clearly states that there is war on page 9. It also says that the German soldiers are threatening the people in Denmark and taking things away from them.
I think the soldiers are in here to take the Jews away because in chapter 3 it said the Nazi soldiers are are searching everywhere for the Jews trying to kill them. I think that the nazi wants to take the land from the people of Denmark to make Germany bigger.
I am wondering about why they really need to make Germany bigger. maybe because they want to rule the world. This is why I think the soldiers are in Denmark for war.
I don't think the war is just in two countries. I think it is with the whole world. I like how you predicted that the Nazi's where there because the wanted to make Germany stronger.

ReplyDeleteI think the "war" is about World War 2, not just between Denmark and Germany. And I think the Germans are in town because they already "conqured" Denmark.
