Week 1 Group#3 MY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN AISD
In my perspective he's doing it for the adventure, to find out about his great grandfather's land. He might be testing his abilities in wildlife and thinking about the difference between New York and the wildlife. If I where Sam I would take someone with me and take a lot of stuff to last me for a long time: toothbrush, toothpaste, picture of parents, precious things, clothes, buckets, water bottle, a diary with some pencils and erasers, and books to help me in nature. I would feel scared but I would be curious about mostly the animals in the wildlife. The time I would be scared if there's a natural disaster or if I can't catch my food.

I like your post because you really thought about your needs and your feelings that you can feel there. I think for the natural disasters you can hide in caves. For the food problem you can maybe bring some food just in case
