I think that he is called "Stone Fox" because the word stone maybe mean that his head is hard like a stone and the word fox because maybe he's fast as a fox.
That is what I thought. I wonder why Stone Fox's head is like stone. maybe the author is trying to push our think. For example, the part it said: His eyes sparkled in the sun light. What else did you think about Stone Fox?
