In the story The Tiger Rising By:Kate DiCamillo the mood changed cause before Rob met Sistine he was being bullied very roughly and when Sistine came on the bus she got all the bullies attention so much that the mood changed. Because the bullies were not bullying Rob anymore they had all there attention on Sistine because she was wearing a pink lacey dress to school and nobody did that. Also I think at the beginning Rob doesn't really like/focus on Sistine because it does not really matter to him that she is wearing a dress (she was just an ordinary girl to Rob). But then at school he helped her when she was being bullied I think because he remembered that she helped him on the bus with the bullies even though she didn't do it on purpose. So that is how his mood changed about Sistine and throughout the story.
I think that Rob is just a little shy to meet Sistine at first but then was a bit more confident.
